Salary range is £25k to £30K dependant on the skills and experience of the candidate.

The role

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the successful execution for all events that the client sponsor, attend or produce (including remote events and webinars), in all jurisdictions in which the client operate, on time and on budget under the direction of the Head of Marketing.

The Marketing Coordinator will assume responsibility for all aspects of our events including (but not limited to), planning and logistics, budgetary control, production of marketing collateral, partner management (where appropriate), delegate communication (including social media and website) and lead recording, and post event analysis.

Working closely with all other teamsand a number of key partners the Marketing Coordinator will support the delivery of marketing plans, campaigns, and other projects to achieve key business goals.

You are authorised to access, use or disclose customer information only when you need to do so to perform your operational duties. Any other access, use, or disclosure may only be made on receipt of additional authority from the information owner.

Devise and implement a events strategy and schedule to complement marketing activities, including exhibitions, conferences, seminars, awards and webinars.

Event logistics:

·Negotiating contracts.
·Main point of contact for organisers.
·Organising facilities and catering required.
·Organising speakers (where appropriate).

·Attend events (when required).

Internal marketing coordination to support events:

·Brief other marketing team members on support required to deliver the event successfully.

The skills and experience you need

The role requires an experienced marketing professional. Ideally the individual will have an understanding of the legal sector and IT within it. The successful applicant will have to develop an understanding of Tikit’s own products, its partner products and the strengths and weaknesses of these against the competition.

Other requirements are:

  • Degree educated / CIM qualified.
  • Proven track record of delivering high quality events.
  • High organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.

·Ability to write in a clear and precise way to communicate the agreed marketing messages to internal and external audiences.

·Experience with tools used by Tikit such as Adobe suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Wordpress, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) would be preferable.

·Comfortable with presenting marketing plans and activities to internal teams with a view to gaining buy in.

·Experience of building strong relationships internally with the sales and product functions, and externally with clients, publishers, media agencies, and partners.

·Ability to work independently results orientated, positive, determined and inclusive.

·High energy, bright, proactive, enthusiastic team player able to play significant role in moving the business forward.
