THE COMPANY
The company is a long established UK manufacturer and supplier for the design and production of gearing systems and specialist gearboxes. Established in the mid 1800's, the company has been long associated with the supply companies across the world.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Developing and embedding a sustainable Lean / Continuous Improvement culture by communicating, mentoring and coaching of employees across all relevant functions
• Accountable for ensuring that process improvements are aligned to customer satisfaction with demonstrable business benefits
• An advocate for Lean / Continuous Improvement and driving the methodology by supporting the business with their development of process improvement
• Accountable for the design of the Lean / Continuous Improvement vision and strategy for the area of Continuous Improvement
• Align the Lean / Continuous Improvement mission/vision/purpose to ensure that it supports the business plan
• Accountable for the delivery of bottom line results through successful implementation of improvement projects

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Operations Management
• Minimum of 3 years experience of working within a Lean / Continuous Improvement environment
• Background in precision machined aerospace components and assemblies
• Project Management experience
• Six Sigma Black Belt (Advantageous)
