My client is one of the world’s largest, and most established providers of technology solutions and services to legal and professional service firms
There is a new opportunity for a Lead Technical Consultant to work within the EMEA Consulting team.
The Lead Consultant will have a primary focus of the technical delivery of implementation projects, both new implementations and upgrades of document management systems (iManage and NetDocuments) and legal time recording when required. Involvement with other related products will be as appropriate to technical background and skills, and training.
Ø To provide pre-sales consulting on Document Management System (DMS), primarily iManage and NetDocuments, and related products.
Ø Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions and strategies.
Ø To actively participate in requirement definition, playback and workshop sessions including production of supporting documentation and completion of follow-up activities
Ø To provide accurate scale of effort (SOE) estimates and write statements of work (SOW) for project work, appropriate to own level of experience or expertise
Ø To act as lead consultant on projects primarily relating to DMS and time recording products, company services and related third party products where required
Ø To analyse customer requirements to create accurate system specifications
Ø Take overall technical responsibility for the delivery of the technical solution
Ø Work with delivery resources to deliver well tested technical solutions in line with documented requirements
Ø To deliver appropriate technical training and support to client users, testers and support teams
Ø To actively participate in the identification and resolution process for project issues and product defects
Ø Establish a trusted working relationship with key clients.
Ø Accurate time recording for billing and working closely with the Tikit PMO is essential
Ø Proactively cultivate relationships with all business unit heads of departments.
Ø Set a positive and professional example to all colleagues, and foster positive communication with all departments.
Ø Continually define ways to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Ø To promote the company as a centre of excellence for Document Management Systems and to promote available services and products.
The Lead Consultant will offer skills/experience to include:
Ø Proven experience of undertaking document management system implementations and upgrades
Ø Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ø Multi –skilled with experience of client and server side operating systems, connectivity and security
Ø Ability to develop close relationships with client project teams and act as a trusted advisor
Ø Strong problem solving and diagnostic skills, combined with the ability to work independently
Ø Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate in a Windows Server product (2008/2012 etc.)
Ø Proven experience of the implementation of products within a large law firm environment (e.g. iManage, Practice and Case Management Tools, NetDocuments).
Ø Desirable experience to assist implementations of company e-Marketing Solutions
Ø A strong basic knowledge of HTML
Ø Good knowledge of HTML design best practice – “the basics” (plus from an email perspective rather than web perspective)
Ø Understanding the concept of ‘responsive design’ (why we do it, elements to be considered for change when the screen size changes, the different approaches available
